I'm bored by my high school curriculum. What should I do?

My school uses the CSCOPE program which has been adopted by around 70% of all the public schools in my state. They basically give the teachers pre-planned lessons to use everyday. We aren’t allowed to ask questions about any information not covered in the lessons. This software has ‘replaced’ textbooks, so I can’t even try to read the chapters for more information. The lessons are written for the on-level kids but they are used in my honors classes, and I find them way too easy. The only classes that don’t have to follow the CSCOPE curriculum are AP classes. I tried to fill my schedule with AP classes for next year, but there are only a couple you can take as a sophmore.
What can I do to feel more challenged an interested at school? Are there any online school options or classes I can take outside of school in addition to my normal classes? My parent really can’t afford for me to go to a private school, but I learn nothing from the progams in place at my current school. Does anyone have some advice?

In all honesty, school is rarely ever challenging or enriching. Even my AP classes can turn into jokes pretty quickly.

Oh it can certainly be challenging, but that alone doesn’t make it enriching.

If you really want to feel challenged, try to solve the Hodge conjecture.

Take a textbook to school and read it during class.
