I'm confused

Hi all, I am a high school sophomore and i’m starting to look around early for financial aid. My main choices are Rutgers NB, TCNJ, and UDEL. At Rutgers NB, I want the James Dickson Carr scholarship but i’m not sure how to get it. Like SAT Score and so on. I have an SAT score around 2050. And how could i get a decent scholarship at TCNJ/UDel as well? I’m a NJ resident btw.
Thank you!

Look on the websites to the schools that you have an interest in applying to…and check the section called “financial aid and scholarships”. In that you should be able to find information about the types of merit awards (the ones based on your SAT/GPA) the schools offer and the criteria for receiving these.

Since you’re only a sophomore, chances are that your SAT will be higher by the time you’re a senior.

You need to get the best stats…GPA, SAT (and take the ACT, too).

Will you be taking the PSAT in the fall? If you do well on that you can get some scholarships that way from various schools.
