I'm different now I promise!

Alright so I’ve deffinitely screwed up in the past. Freshman year I was just kind of not with it, sophomore year I moved to a new city and school, I had family problems, pretty much just a horible personal year and my grades really reflected it, Junior year I got my life back together, I took my hardest courseload yet and got all A’s also doing more ECs then ever. This is the person that I know I am going to be for my senior year and on after that. I am just afraid that the mistakes of my freshman and sophomore years are going to kill me. Do I have any chance whatsoever of getting into NW???

Essays shouls be very good. Writing is my strong suit
Recs should be outstanding. My guidence counsler and other 2 teachers like me a lot.

Also my sister went to NW.

I would really apreciate any input anyone has. Thanks so much!

Is your come-back evidence of personal strength and indomitable spirit? Make sure that comes through. You could make contact with NU soon, visit, apply early, and absolutely wow them with your essays and recs, and I think you’d have a good shot at it. Nothing is for sure, but it looks to me like it’s definitely worth the effort.
