I'm feverish right before the June SAT! WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!??!??!?!?!?!?!??

any advice would be wonderful....I think this sickness was caused by extreme sleep deprivation (related to severe insomnia)...

The test is on saturday, right?

That is 3 days away. There is a great chance that you will be better by then. Try to get a lot of sleep. Resting now will up your chances of making a quick recovery. It is probably just a little virus, and will run its course relatively quickly.

However, if you are still really sick on the day of the test, then stay home. It won't be the end of the world.

Good luck!

Well, my neighbor would tell you to put sliced onions in your socks before bed and the fever will get sucked out as the onions cook on your feet. But, as I always tell him, there are better ways to cure a fever (Motrin?).

Relax, as Irene said, get lots of rest....whatever your body is fighting (which is what the fever is about), your body will be able to fight it faster if you don't exert it doing other things. Rest - and let your energy be used to fight the infection.

It is easy to become dehydrated if you are feverish. Fluids such as water and orance juice are good. Bananas are excellent for replenishing minerals and vitamins. Avoid caffiene, obviously.

As others have said, getting some rest and sleep its what will help you most at this point. Meditation, music or prayer (or all three!) help many people to feel calm. When you feel better, walking or other light exercise will help clear your mind.

Thank you all! I think it's the sleep...will go get some sleep...
