I'm freaking out

I just sent my RD2 for RPI in. However, even though i sent it in at 11:59, when I reloaded the page, it showed up as 12:00:31 the next day. Does that mean Im kicked out of the ED pool? Commonapp.org say has the RD2 pool highlighted and everything, but my freaking computer wasn’t handling the internet well.

I’m having a heart attack right now

I sent my Admissions officer an Email explaining the situation, and am going to call admissions first thing in the morning.

Why were you waiting until the last minute to send it…? The same thing happened with my Stanford Regular Decision App I sent yesterday night at 9:00 PM or so. It somehow shows up as sent on 12/15 not 12/14 even though I sent it on 12/14. Probably a common application error. I’m sure they will understand. But still. 11:59 is cutting it close.

angryasianman: do you happen to live in pacific time zone…?

Yes I live in Washington State.

Yeah, I know I’m stupid. But Im 100% sure I sent it in before the deadline.

Also, I just got an email saying that my app and supp submitted successfully. Does this mean that Im in the ED2 pool, because my app said im applying ED2

I called admissions and they said it should be fine, but they let me put a message on the deans recorder. Been the entire day, and no call backs.

Is there a way to figure out if you’re stuff got in?

I’m pretty sure their admissions would understand some apps being a few minutes late. The worst thing that can happen is they would be slightly annoyed that you waited till the last moment. :P
