I’ve always been taught in English class that providing a quote is a good way to start off a topic. Now that I’ve deliberately passed on that opportunity, here’s a quote to describe myself: “I’m kind of a big deal.” Recognize that? It’s Ron Burgundy from Anchorman. The only thing is, Ron Burgundy was a fictional character. I’m the real deal. I’m a truly excellent human being, or “the ****” as you people would say in your collegaite vernacular.

But enough about how amazing I am; let’s start talking about why. I’m currently in my second year of college, majoring in Computer Engineering while also fulfilling the pre-health requirements. I haven’t taken the MCAT yet, but I’m anticipating a perfect score of 45.

Outside of my academics, I am equally impressive. For one, I pwn at cooking. Last night I made some porkchops that would make Michael Symon orgasm (twice). Also, I’m hilarious and extremely eloquent. There are many more hobbies of mine (ranging from saving kittens in trees to offering political advise to Barack Obama), but I feel that cooking and comedy are my two most compelling qualities.

With all of these options laid out before me, I have become conflicted about what to do with my future. So, being the modest person I am, I decided to let the people decide, rather than forcing the decision myself. The choice is yours, people of the forum. Below you see your four choices; please choose wisely.

What should I be when I grow up?
a. Trauma Surgeon (Critical Care)
b. Computer Hardware Engineer
c. Professional Chef / Restaurateur
d. Sitcom Writer and Producer
e. All of the above

you should become a sitcom writer and produce a show about a successful computer hardware engineer who quits his job to become a professional chef and opens a restaurant. but one day, he cooks fugu (blowfish) wrong and all his customers need to be rushed to the hospital, where he meets a beautiful trauma surgeon who saves his life and…yeah you can take it from there.

Your humor sounds really forced, so either you believe a lot of what you’re saying but don’t wanna come off as a prick or you just don’t know what’s funny. Either way, cross (d) off your list.

anything has the option of fame. you could be the fastest operator and find a way to be done within a blink of an eye. or build a new OS as a computer engineer.

and you could be only an average cook, so your restaurant does not receive as much fame as emril, or your sitcom could be shot down by all the tv companies.
