I'm going to Harvard, will you sponsor me?

[**This](http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/14/fashion/14unithrive.html?_r=1&scp=2&sq=harvard&st=cse)[/B] is from last Sunday’s NYT, didn’t see that it was posted previously. Sounds like a great idea to me:

So far, top loan amount is $2,000 and the neurobiology major was asking for $$ for materials to help her study for and pay for the MCAT. Sometimes a little bit of money at the right time can make all the difference in the world.

What a wonderful idea! The kids benefit and the alumi have the opportunity to give back in a direct way.

She should major in marketing

Here’s the direct link: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/14/fashion/14unithrive.html?_r=2&scp=2&sq=harvard&st=cse</a></p>

I know I would much prefer to donate/loan to an individual than to an institution, and can see this concept expanding in a big way. I’d bet Kiva is watching closely.
