I'm I selfish for wanting to go to Cal? WARNING: Lots of drama!

Go to Cal man, you’re going to regret it in the long run. She’s probably scared of being alone during her pregnancy, or that you simply are not going to take responsibility of the baby (if she’s pregnant). I honestly hope you make the best decision, but please try to talk to her and let her know how you feel and do clarify that you’re going to take responsibility of the baby… We are no longer in the 1900s, meaning having a child doesn’t mean you have to get married and live a “happy life” with your girlfriend. Just take responsibility of your actions, and go to Berkeley so that you can provide a brighter future for your kid :slight_smile: I wish you the best! I hope to see you at Cal this fall :slight_smile:

I remember having one of those ■■■■■ dolls. I accidentally painted its hair with whiteout and ended up having a series of nightmares. Suffice to say, I threw that ■■■■■ into the ocean.

Do also a DNA test to check that it yours. I’m pretty much sure she tricked you to make your life miserable, it’s common among women.

@Moshe1010‌

Bro, you sound like a sexist when you say “I’m pretty much sure she tricked you to make your life miserable, it’s common among women.”

Don’t be a sexist. [-X

@Moshe1010‌ as a woman, I can say it does happen, just the way a guy could do something devious. But the vast majority don’t. I am assuming that provocative statement was meant as a goad…

@Cayton‌ It sounded maybe pretty bad, but when a woman doesn’t want you to leave, she’ll do some evil stuff. I have quite experience with that, as well as hearing similar stuff from my friends, so I base my comment on my experience.

@Moshe1010‌

I don’t disbelieve you that some women can be unscrupulous in their relationships, but it’s ignorant to think that all or most women would do such a thing based on your experiences and the experiences of your friends.

This is how stereotypes are born, btw.

Condoms are effective 85% of the time. A paternity test can only be done after the baby is born, or from abortion leavings or from amniocentesis. A doctor will not perform amniocentesis for paternity alone but if it’s needed some of the fluid can be used. OP doesn’t seem to have any question that possible baby is his though. I’m with the most of the group urging you to try your best to complete your education so you’ll be in a great position to support your child. Most here seem to suspect that this is a “trap baby” and the timing is certainly suspect. You agreed to this risk when you decided to do the baby dance with her. I wanted to put my two cents in and suggest that you not move your GF to college with you. You are in a rigorous school and babies are intense. She would be better off staying with her parents for a couple of years and staying on their health insurance. Insurance is vital for a baby. The hospital bill will be about $10k without it. You should get a part time job and send her most of your money. For a fun exercise you could call up your local Domestic Relations Court and find out the minimum child support payment you will be expected to contribute. I live on the east coast and it’s about $450 a month if you have a poverty level income. You sound like a good guy who cares and will try to do the right thing. We’d all like to hear what you decide. None of us is in a position to judge either of you.

Lol, it’s time to let this thread die. OP is more than likely trolling everyone. I know he denied being a ■■■■■ but that’s kinda what the trolls do!

@lindyk8

I’m curious as to how a man could do something devious like the OP’s girlfriend. He can’t exactly fib that he’s pregnant…Well, I guess he can give it a shot, but what are the odds she’s that stupid?

People tend to say/do the most insane, incomprehensible crap when they’re desperate. I wouldn’t put it past her to lie that she’s actually in fact an escaped oompa loompa who is being forced into a sex trafficking ring by Willy Wonka himself.

@burntcorpse No, I’m just basically saying guys can be dicks too. They shoot more significant others than girls do, for one thing.

@Lindyk8 It is not that guys can be dicks or that girls can be dicks. It is that people can be dicks. Like today, I was walking down the street and some idiot in a car shoot me with a paintball gun.
people = sh* t

shot*
