I'm in! Now what?

Update on language course question: I’ve asked a couple of my friends who go there and they seem to think that two advanced language courses would be okay, since it’s essentially like taking two literature courses. We’ll see.

Update on gap year situation: I am allowed to take a gap year. In fact, they’d probably prefer for me to take a gap year :)

Batllo: I’ll definitely work with him on the stress. You know, it’s funny, but that option hadn’t even crossed my mind, I guess because we spend most of our sessions addressing the immediate mental health / medication fall-out stuff.

Scualum: Your suggestion about covering the first few chapters of the textbook before the semester starts sounds like a great idea! I’ll try it out during my gap year and see how it goes. Better to be overprepared than under-, right?

menloparkmom - The teaching English to recent Chinese immigrants sounds amazing. I’ll have to look around, although I don’t think we have a lot of recent Chinese immigrants. I know we have quite a few adopted Chinese girls, though, so maybe I’ll work with them and teach Chinese instead of English! Who knows?

Eireann and Compmom: Thank you for offering to let me PM you. I’ll definitely do that at some point, probably tomorrow because I have to start studying for a test now!

And again, a general thank you… I know I’m saying thank you a lot, but I truly am grateful for all the help and attention you guys are giving me (:.

^^ Allright!!! Great to have you so sound so upbeat! Good luck, keep in touch and let us know how you are doing [and someday, where it is you will be enrolling!]
