I go to a very competitive high school, ranked in the top 100 nationally.

However, alot happened, and near the end of my sophomore year many students died, and I knew them. My grandfather also passed away, so my grades went very low and got a C in math.

Please help me out!

I think that you have a good chance at most UCs. Davis and San Diego are getting more competitive, but I think Davis is a good shot. SB is also relatively competitive, but I know someone who got in with a 1900 SAT and around a 3.4. Do you have a high income? Because USC sure loves those…hehe sorry. Also, you could turn those tragedies into powerful essays, but don’t make them sound like sob stories.

definitely bring up your SATs, and I hope you had good AP scores if you want to use them to your benefit. And without any information about your ECs, it’s pretty hard to see where you stand.

AP Bio:5

And AP government is online, so Im taking it next year
