<p>I literally discovered this site in the past hour, and it’s quite fascinating!! Oh, and Crickett2324, YOU’RE MY HERO!!! I completely agree that the test does not measure intelligence (I give everyone a lecture about this in my classes), and I also side with you on the EC matter! I’m not sure I could let myself feel sorry for someone who’s ideal average score is in the 99th percentile, or for anyone that says taking three languages, playing piano, and studying Tae Kwon Do is not enough. I hate to say that, but it’s true. Just know that I support ANYONE in pursuit of academic greatness!! By the way, TAE KWON DO AND ALL OF THE MARTIAL ARTS ARE AMAZING!!!</p>

And compliment fishing is very common around here. I try to control myself but a complaining about getting in the 99% on the SSAT would make a nun swear.</p>

<p>thanks crickett!!! I think we should start a new thread telling people to stop fishing for compliments on their so-called “horrible” stats. If i see another post with someone claiming they will never get it with their amazing stats (like: oh my gosh i only play 5 varsity sports and only know 15 languages and have only donated 50 million dollars to the school, whatamigonnado?) then heads will roll.</p>

<p>Well, I can honestly say that I did not sign up to get compliments from people! I signed up so that I can communicate with other intelligent people that are trying to get into private or independant schools! I’m happy to here all of these greetings!
