I'm not sure if this means a 92 in stuy will not mean as much as a 4.0 in another?

whats like the average sat score at stuyvesant? i bet its high

It’s a 2090.
It’s actually kind of low.

I believe math and CR composite is a 1400 or thereabouts.

thats high average lol. so uh are the students competitive with each other there?

I guess you could say so. ‘What’d you get?’ is a commonly uttered phrase.

However, people here actually care about learning - since our floors are set up by subject, the conversations will vary based on what floor you are.
On the fourth, ‘On question 14c, what’d you get for that second derivative?’
Eighth, ‘But what if the ball was rolling on a curved hill…?’

You get it.

and stuy has central air conditioning, something many schools lack, especially at bronx science

loll a shot at bx science. nice

When I take my SATs at other schools, I just can’t imagine myself not at stuy…the white halls, escalators…everything.

well, i’m just insulting my own school, so i guess it’s a bad thing. but whatever

"It’s a 2090.

well aren’t there a lot of students at stuyvesant?
for an average, thats high

2090 is not that high…I would say 2200 is good but because mine is around 2100-2200 i can’t say anything >.<. 800 in math is pretty common, although I did not make that either.

2167 at hunter
188 students

Yet again, this isn’t a topic about hunter.
Please keep out if you’re just here to ■■■■■.

well neither was this a topic about average sats at bronx sci or stuy
but since they started talking about sats anyway i thought…may as well :)))

No one posted Bronx Sci’s average SAT scores.
Stuy’s was specifically requested in a post.

Oh man, since I got to cornell, i’ve met so many people from hunter, stuy and bronx sci. don’t worry about it.

"2090 is not that high…I would say 2200 is good but because mine is around 2100-2200 i can’t say anything >.<. 800 in math is pretty common, although I did not make that either. "
seriously, I mean 2090 is not high in particular, but it’s mad good as an average…
lol u guys talk as if ppl who score under a 2000 is a fxxking ■■■■■■ (not me, I got a 32 in the ACT (well maybe the avg in stuy is a 34?))

A lot of people are EDing Cornell at stuy, but i wouldn’t say it’s the most popular.

They’ll weigh our averages accordingly. I wouldn’t worry too much, if your GPA trend isnt going down.

Also, I remember reading a paper that the college office sent out last year saying that we don’t rank because many times the difference is a matter of decimals… so we’re definitely known as one of the most academically elite schools.

Only three kids EDing AAP from stuy this year… let’s hope i get in.
