This is turning into another “Blue Hair” thread :D, and I just want to let everyone know that the information NinnyNoodle gathered can be found right here on this forum. You select the schools you are interested in, and make a word document (possibly a separative file per school) by simply “cutting pasting & saving” excerpts and posts on all the subjects you are interested in when browsing all the sub categories (such as audition current student inside info, curriculum details etc.).

I am not sure that Ninny is still actively sending out that document, but if not, you can create one yourself catered to your own specifications. With all the information available here, it will turn into a ‘heavy duty guide’ pretty quickly :).

Oh goodness. I haven’t been on here in quite awhile, obviously. I’ll start sending out to the people who requested one, forgive me if it takes awhile!

jhbarclay – Ninnynoddle does not post here much anymore… you may want to try emailing her directly. If you click on her name a pull down menu will appeaqr and one of the options is send email.

Hi, I just started looking for colleges and I just encountered your post. I would be really appreciative if I could benefit from your considerable research.

I am hopeful that I could have the link to your report or else receive it through my mail address. If the latter, please let me know and I will provide the address.

There have been so many requests for Ninny’s guide, and it must be very time consuming for a college student to respond to every request. Is there some way to post it as a link at the top of the page?

Ninnynoodle is very kind to share her research. I just wanted to point out to all those beginning this adventure that it is very important that you all do your own college visits, investigations, see productions, etc. Each person has their own unique needs and personality. I’d encourage you to do your own first-hand research.

So, are you allowed to say what LAC with great theatre is tempting you? I hope they give you more money so that you can attend! A lot of people in the know have said to get a great liberal arts education and take the MT training on the side. So it sounds like you’re in a good place, perhaps even a better place than you had thought. Good luck. And I, too, would love to see your Big List. Thank you.

My daughter is a h.s. junior, and is starting to make a list of MT colleges she wants to learn more about and visit…would you please send access to your MT list – it sounds like a perfect resource!

I hope things are going well for you this year. Thanks for your offer!

This document was intended to be a compilation of the postings from the school sub-forums. I would be very circumspect in relying on it, if it is still being circulated. When a link to it was originally posted, I had the opportunity to peruse this compilation and discovered that for some schools it was a very incomplete and therefore skewed reiteration of the postings from the school sub-forums. While the concept of compiling the postings into a single source by school is admirable, in application, whether because of the volume of postings or otherwise, you end up with a very edited version based on one person’s views of what posts are relevant, because of the sampling method used or because of a lack of time to include a complete recitation. As was suggested by another poster, if you are interested in a particular school, read the threads on that school’s sub-forum, which served as the source for this document.
