I’m currently a junior and I’m taking three college classes, have a job, take honors classes, and do band. Thanks to me overloading myself this year I am failing one of my college classes. Is there any chance I will still get into a college eventhough I am failing one class. I’m so worried
Yes you’ll still get into college if you have a realistic list.
But why overload yourself?
You need to find balance.
I’m sorry you are so worried. You do have a lot going on. One failure is not going to make your world explode. Before you give up, are you certain that you will fail? I was terrible at talking to my profs to my detriment. I’ve taught my kids to talk to the profs which has been good for them. It shows that you are engaged and want to succeed. Not that they will just give you an undeserved grade, but they might be willing to let you take an incomplete and finish work between the semesters when you might have a little more time. If not, you are no worse off.
If you are certain that you are going to fail, see if withdrawing is an option, even as a withdrawal failing. Talk to your high school counselor and get their opinion on how a withdrawal would be considered for admissions compared to an F. I am not a good gauge on how colleges treat those, but I bet the counselor would.
Don’t wait on getting a plan - the option to withdraw closes for schools around me on 12/1. You need to start talking now.
Agree with @porcupine98 . Look for some balance where you aren’t sacrificing your health for tomorrow’s plans. Good luck
