I'm SOOO frustrated >.<

Hey All!

I’m a freshman that will have to take the S.A.T. next year to count towards admission to a boarding school in North Carolina called NCSSM. It focuses primarily on excellence in math and science; however, it also houses an AMAZING humanities program. I’ve taken the S.A.T twice and i’ve gotten an 1830 & 1960 respectively. I need some tips to push me into the 2000 range that will make me much more comfortable when i apply next year for NCSSM. (: I appreciate any advice, and the averages that i score when i take practice tests and such are listed below by section.

Reading Comprehension: 680

Writing: 660

Math: 600

I NEED ADICE THAT WILL PUSH ME INTO THE 700’S SOMEWHERE!?! -_____-

P.S : I’m already subscribed to the SAT question of the day on College Board.

The SAT question of the day… i don’t suppose you know is just a joke. The questions are way too easy.

Just like with anything you just have to keep practicing. I max out at a 32 ACT. No matter how many practice tests i take i can never get past 32. Maybe that’s something you need to consider as well. Your score will go up (over high school) but not simply by cramming for one test.

Math can be a 800 instead of a 600

Study more!

Why do you want to go there? I live in NC too

Well, I’m assuming you’re going to study and take practice tests. When you do, check your answers and why theyre right/wrong. And it helps to just focus on one subject - so like doing only writing sections for a week, and then focusing only on math sections the next week, with careful analysis of answers of course.

good luck:)
