I'm sorry, but chances? Dying to be an eagle!

<p>I know these are annoying, but the more I learn about BC the more I want to be an eagle :)</p>

<p>GPA: 3.9
SAT: 2130/2400 or 1420/1600
SAT II: not taken yet, projected math - high 600s, bio - 700ish
All honors classes (my school doesn’t have any APs)
English - 4 years
Math - 4 years including Calculus
French - 5 years
Science - 4 years</p>

<p>ECs
varsity lacrosse (this year I’ll be captain), varsity soccer, skiing (not competitively) photography, lifeguard, EMT (I will be; I’m taking the class this fall), class social chair, elected member of my school’s social council
Volunteered at my local hospital and at a summer camp</p>

<p>My recommendations are excellent, don’t know yet about my essay (I should be writing it now, but I’m procrastinating </p>

<p>I want to be premed, majoring in sociology, anthropology, psychology, or human development. Any info/advice on those programs would be appreciated as well.</p>

<p>Great stats, just be sure to get those SAT II scores you need. Otherwise you look really solid. Make sure you have a solid essay, visit the campus to learn some more stuff, and maybe consider Early Action if you are deadset on being an Eagle. If you want to do human development you need to be in Lynch, but it can be a minor from A&S and it’s easier to switch into Lynch than to A&S.</p>

<p>Do a lot of people have a minor?? Also, do you know if a minor would take up most of your “elective” classes (like the ones that aren’t your core or major requirements)?</p>

<p>A lot of people minor or even double major. It’s not hard to do, for most A&S majors you only need to take 10 classes, and you will take 40 total while at BC. You can look up major requirements and how much core you have to take and figure out how many open classes you will have.</p>

<p>Your SAT and GPA is solid for an imcoming BC applicant. Your EC sports looks great. Your volunteer stuff looks a little “sketchy”. Don’t bomb your SATII’s. Get going on your essays-- NOW! My daughter is an incoming junior who LOVES her BC experience. You won’t regret it, but you still have some work to do!</p>
