I'm starting college and I need a new PIN. What will happen to my FAFSA application?

My question basically asks what I need to know, but here is more information.

I need to sign my master promissary note (MPN) for the Federal Perkins Loan, but I forgot what my FAFSA PIN was. I tried to get it, but I entered the wrong answer for the security question three times in a row, so my PIN number was permanently deactivated. Whoops.

I’m going to apply for a new PIN so I can sign the MPN, but will my new PIN automatically be connected to my FAFSA application that was sent in last winter? (And thus, to the loans I will be receiving?)

Thank you so much for reading this, and if you have any insight at all on this matter, please reply! :)

Found this…hope it helps:
While trying to use your PIN, you entered it incorrectly too many times and your PIN has been deactivated. You must reestablish it by selecting Reestablish My PIN from the list of options on the left side of the PIN Home Page.
