I'm super nervous about my Columbia waitlist will this be enough

So I got waitlisted at Columbia, and I had the typical reaction not disappointed or excited. Anyways from what I’ve read Columbia is still super selective about their waitlist. I have done some significant stuff since I applied as in raising my class rank to 10/600 and qualifying for state in UIL academics for two events. But my real question is on the last thing I’ve done since I applied. I started my own video game company and we released our first video game for the iphone. Considering I want to major in CS will this be enough to get me off the waitlist?

Depends mainly not on what you do, but on what the yield rate is.

Honestly I feel this will have negative impact on your application. If your business venture has legs, will you be a part time student ? Why will Columbia accept a less than committed students ? If your video game is a gimmick then it is just that. I wouldnt mention it if I were you.
