I'm the only Harvard applicant who....

to coquettish- if we both happen to get in, would you be so kind as to remove any insect problems that happen to manifest themselves in my room? k thanks.:)

im the only harvard applicant who…climbed mt everest? it was quite the accomplishment, i’ll tell ya.

but seriously…
im the only one who, when woken up in the middle of the night, could (and would) sing green day songs on command

Lol, funny. I thought many people can play banjo anyway

If we get in, we really need to take over Princeton…

… and if we don’t, we need to take over Harvard.

I am only white kid applying to harvard living in taiwan with a taiwanese family, and am 99.999999% sure on this because I know all the exchange students here

plus i’m a US citizen (thank goodness) so I’m not in the international pool

I think I’m the only Harvard applicant who looks up and prints out Finnish dog agility contest results and posts them on the walls of the school cafeteria.

Yeah, saw that on the news. Hey, at least your school has a GSA. My private school refuses to start one.

It seems we have a nice little gay club here on CC, though!

my school has a GSA… I feel uncomfortable with it though… I mean, I have nothing against gay people. One of my teachers is so awesome and he’s gay. However, I don’t think clubs about sexual orientation are appropriate. It’s like starting a “Beautiful People’s Club”

There’s nothing really wrong with it unless they try to exclude membership to only gays (which they generally don’t…).

I dunno, it just makes the whole situation of like approving of homosexual behavior. Once again, I have nothing against gays, I tolerate their rights and beliefs, however, I don’t like it. And it seems clubs like these promote homosexuality.

I’m the only Harvard Applicant who:
-can paint kids faces so they look like penguins (and at my first ever volunteer face-painting job too)
-plays a rocking celtic fiddle (although I might not be the only one, most of the other fiddlers I know really just aren’t going to Harvard)

I’m kind of the same way with FCA at our school… they’re kind of mean to people. But, I still think they have the right to do it (as long as they don’t exclede membership or force people into it).

hmm. i think it’s cool for homosexual students to have a group for discussion and support purposes. i’m not at all for the militant gay thing though; if it’s incredibly exclusive and claims superiority over the rest of the student body, then it’s divisive and detrimental to their cause. otherwise, i think gay students need a home-base within the school to feel less ostracized.

i say this as a person who was recruited to join my school’s GSA because of the way i looked at the time, laughs. I think that there are some things which are unnecessarily “pro” gay and “pro” alternative lifestyle in this movement which end up superficializing it.

i think it needs to be accommodated, but not promoted. admittedly, there is a very fine line between the two…

You looked like a guy?

hmm, as for my quirk… so many. pertaining to that subject, maybe i’m the only harvard applicant who’s been a crossdresser before. i’m not gay though. besides, a female crossdressing isn’t as bizarre as a male crossdressing.

…

yea, DHA got it. i remember when girls used to scream when i walked into the bathroom. i’ve since opted for a more feminine style of dress. it’s just an easier way to live :)

i guess i just like to test people…or something.

I see…

it’s not like i wrote my essays about that… geez. have i killed this discussion or something? please, somebody else say something weird…

Here’s something funny to clear the air:
