Turned 60 a couple of months ago, and I’ve been trying to adopt her attitude for a few years, sometimes more successfully than others…
When a guy in my workplace bragged he would still have a long time to live, I told him: Good luck to you. You have more than 20 years to pay off your mortgage, to contribute to your retirement, to prepare to get two or three hundred thousand dollars for you kids’ education. He seemed shocked about what I said.
