I e-mailed the professor and he said I may be able to add into a late start 3 unit Humanities class that starts on October 15, pending on how many students show up and my priority number.

How do I handle this on the TAG application? I’m only taking 6 units right now and may or may not add another course in the middle of October, but the TAG deadline is in September.

Should I just submit my TAG application right now as it is, without the class?

I remember one of the Davis’s rep at my school said that late start Fall courses should be labelled as “planned” in the TAG, then explain in the additional comment section that “course XXX is a late-start class at my school, which starts on 10/15, blah blah blah”

Since it’s a planned class, you will not be responsible for not taking it. Hope that helps

Awesome bro, that helps a lot!

@sparkyboy What if im already enrolled for the late start class? Would I have to put it as IP or PL?

One last question before I submit my TAG app.

Do I list the 4 courses that I have “planned” for Spring 2012? I.E., courses which I haven’t even signed up for but will sign up for?

As long as it doesn’t start in September, I think it’s best to list it as “planned”. But if you label it the other way, it doesn’t really matter though.

Yes, just list something that is > 12 units total to show them that you actually have a plan for your last semester at CC
. I personally put down 9 units that I will be sure to take this spring and 2 random GE classes :D

Does anyone know if UCSD takes AP Tests scores as part of the 60 unit requirement?

if it applies to your 60 units you should put IP.

the uc do not include any ap credit towards your 30 unit mininum in order to apply for tag. im sure it counts for your 60 unit minimum for when you transfer though. look at the TAG rules.
