I'm very nervous!

UW is my first-choice school, but I dunno about my stats. Can anyone give me an opinion?

GPA: 3.66/3.77
SAT: 1920: 700 reading, 570 math (low, i know), 650 writing.
I may end up doing it again, actually.
Some volunteer hours, part time job (20 hrs/wk during school, full time during summer) for two years, started a Young Democrats club, doing NHS. Hopefully going to the Czech Republic next summer on a mini-exchange.

This year I’m taking AP English, Government, college spanish (third year) and regular chemistry as far as academics go.

Princeton Review calls it a match school, but I’m also out of state. So I’m just really nervous.

I’m a good writer, or so I’ve been told. I hope that works for me. :)

And also, dunno that it matters, but I plan on working enough while going to school that I can get my residency ASAP. Can’t really do 22k per year.

your stats seem good if you were in-state, out of state is a little tougher though
id say you have a good chance, i mean its not as hard as people think to get in. especially since they leave so much room to b.s. on your application.
if you have a good essay id say youre good enough.

i have similar stats and UW is my first choice school as well. However, since Iim out of state, i’m not sure if 1) I’ll get in 2)I’d be able to pay for it. Good luck with your app!

I feel you. :)

Thanks, and you as well!
