<p>I like the idea of writing for your local newspaper. I’ve heard of local papers having a teen columnist who publishes an editorial from time to time.</p>
<p>Also, here are some summer programs that have previously been mentioned on CC. I don’t know if the deadlines have passed so check out each website. The Princeton one is for families with under $45,000 income and is free. I think the others cost, but at least one wasn’t uber-bucks. I have no idea as to the quality of the programs.</p>
