Im worried, Chance me!!

I have a 2.87 gpa according to naviance, im not sure if its after sophomore year or junior year.

I wish I handled high school differently I sort of slacked off freshman year and started doing better sophomore year and junior year.

About me:
Im an immigrant from Russia. I came here when I was one, along with my parents. I speak fluent Russian and English. I also live in New Jersey with no family in this country besides my parents.
I took the SAT’s and got a 1530, which I know isn’t that good and im taking the ACT on September hoping to get over a 25.
I have one AP class senior year AP American History.
I attended 2 clubs JSA and MUSE(poetry), and participated in freshman football and sophomore track. Im really fast and I hope I can get noticed by colleges senior year of track.
I also have a great plan for my application essay which I heard is greatly important and I can get a good amount of teacher recommendations.

The Colleges:
Ohio University
Ohio State University
Syracuse University
Rutgers University
Michigan State University
University of Delaware
University of Vermont
Arizona State University

Don’t expect college coaches to seek you out. Go to those college web sites and fill out the questionnaires under the track athletic sections. Email the coaches.

anyone else?

come on now

I had a similar experience also. I slacked off in high school and I greatly regret it. As Fif said, seek out the coaches and I recommend you to take classes for the SAT or the ACT.
