Immediate Review

I received a letter from Case Western saying that should I choose to apply early (I was anyway), my application fee would be waived and my my application would be given immediate review. Although the waived fee is self-explanatory, I’m curious to know what kind of effect having my application reviewed right away would have, if any. I haven’t seen anything about this online, does it result in an earlier notification about the admission decision? That seems unlikely but there must be some reason for it to be mentioned in the letter, unless of course it’s just another way to try and get people to apply there.
Any answers or ideas would be appreciated :).

Likely, they’ll get you a decision very quickly. YOu can call to be sure. It’s marketing – they want to give a carrot – hoping you’ll nibble.
