Immunizations

Can we submit our immunization form during orientation?

Deadline said to mail or fax by June 30th.

I actually called them up and they said I could have it done in the university if I didn’t have it done already.
PS. It’s more difficult to get immunizations done here in Canada as opposed to the States, particularly because of the public health care thing.

I believe they will do them for you (not at orientation though), but I’m nearly certain you aren’t allowed to start class or move in until you have the form submitted. It’s a mass law.

Okay.

Actually, I checked my records, and I have everything done (apart from the Meningitis vaccine) when I was a baby and the booster when I was in grade school; so do we have to have the booster done again? (for all the immunizations)

It depends on the shot. Some you only need once your whole life and some you need every 10 years. Tetanus shots for instance are every like 10 years or so (can’t remember if that’s on the list). You’re best off calling your doctor’s office and asking.
