Impact of transferring out of the Pre-IB Program?

Hello, I am currently a 9th grader taking part in the Pre-IB Program. Right now, I have all A’ and am doing great, but am feeling that the program might not be the right place for me. I’m considering transferring to the high school I’m zoned for. However, if I transfer at the end of the semester, I’ll have one semester of Pre IB classes, while all my future classes will me honors and AP. It will be clear to any college I apply for that I transferred out of the program. Will this impact my chances of getting into good colleges at all, do you think? Also, the high school I’m zoned for offers honor and AP for everything other than freshman biology. Is this significant too, do you think?

No it won’t matter. It is OK for you to transfer to your home school. The IB program is not for everyone, and you are fortunate to figure this out early on!
