<p>I enjoy helping out at my school, helping friends, tutoring other students, holding leadership positions, etc. However, my school does not have a community service requirement, and I haven’t done very much community service. Do you think this would make me a weak candidate for Haverford?</p>
<p>Personally, I had done very little community service (I don’t know if I included any on my application) and I was still accepted. However, I did focus on community in the supplemental essay. I believe it would have been safer if I had done service, and I think that you should definitely pursue opportunities for it.</p>
<p>It’s cheaper, more rewarding, and more enjoyable than spending the same time with, say, a college prep advisor.</p>
