Importance of high school record in transfer applications

<p>I am interested in applying for transfer to Johns Hopkins and Cornell. Can anyone tell me how important is one’s high school record? I only had an high school GPA of around 3. But I have a 3.7 GPA in my freshmen year in college. What are my chances?</p>
