<p>I know LSAC GPA factors in community college scores too. But im curious how important where you did your undergrad work is. How does a 3.7 LSAC with a degree from arkansas state vs a 3.7 from Texas A&M vs a 3.7 from Princeton compare?</p>

your question presupposes that the same student would get the same gpa at whichever school he/she attends which may or may not be a valid assumption.<br>
personally, i don’t think anyone can predict how their future law school application might be affected by their choice of undergrad school – choose where you think you’ll be happiest and be able to achieve your best.</p>
<p>All else equal, the 3.7 from Princeton or any equivalently good school gets a little boost. Undergrad reputation does not matter much but anyone who says it doesn’t matter at all is mistaken.</p>

<p>Correct. If they have the same gpa, lsat, quality of PS, quality of recs, submitted app on same day, the princeton kid will get the boost. However most of the time people don’t have these things exactly the same so the UG institution rarely comes into play.</p>
<p>Besides, if ALL those other things are equal, what are the odds that these kids are perfectly marginal candidates? 2 in 10,000?</p>
<p>Far more likely that both get accepted or both get rejected.</p>
