Importance of Recommendations (transfer)

<p>I created an account today to apply to transfer for next fall and I noticed that the recommendation and dean forms are relatively simple and don’t really ask too much…I don’t know too much about what NU values (instead of the usual GPA, SAT, etc…) or to what extent does it value certain things, but is it right to assume that they don’t really value essays/recs as much as, for example, UChicago does? In regards to transfer students, what do they really look for? </p>

<p>This is what I have in mind but like I don’t really know much about NU…
GPA – 70%
Essay - 15 %
SAT – 10%
Recs/EC’s - 5%</p>
