Importance of subscore consistency

I recently took the ACT in September and I got a 30.

Thing is, I screwed up so badly on the reading portion that somehow, my reading sub score came out to be a 21. My question is, when I apply to colleges, will this be something that colleges will largely put a negative emphasis on?

I can write a pretty good essay and all my other subscores were good, but how will this reading sub score affect me?

Also, I havent taken the ACT two or more times so these are my only scores that I can send…

Generally the Reading section isn’t given as much importance as the Math, English, and Essay sections… Is it not feasible for you to take it again soon (One of the next two testing dates)?
