How important are they to the upcoming test takers?
Your thoughts???

Not that important imo. Timed sections or entire tests are much better.

You should still do them.

You’ll notice that you might have seen them before, though, because they are recycled from the BB, online course, and from year to year.

useless. Agree with russgenious on the issue.

Yeah, don’t bother with these.

But how probable is it that the same questions appear on the upcoming test you are about to take? :-/

I’d be willing to bet that they’re all retired questions, so zero. In any event, it doesn’t matter, because memorizing dozens or hundreds of questions is a waste of time and effort.

in that case, how can I stop receiving them on my email ?

To stop receiving the email simply go to the bottom of the page of The Official SAT Question of the Day and click to unsubscibe. It looks like this

You can unsubscribe or change your subscription options by going to Manage My College Board Email Subscriptions.

It’s useful for someone who still has a year or more til they take the SAT. I think it helps them get a general sense of SAT questions so its not completely alien to them. However, when its time to get serious, yeah they’re pretty much useless. So basically they are preparing you to prepare for the SAT.

I wasn’t talking about memorizing them but that they could have the same style?

The chance that they will appear on the upcoming test is VERY unlikely, but everyone above stating that they are ‘useless’ is completely wrong. Each practice question helps you understand the format and type of questions that you will be seeing on the SAT.

Good luck.
