how much importance do you place in studying?? Does anybody not study and just wing the test? personally, i dont study too much solely on lack of drive…

STUDY!!! AHHHHHHHH.
even if you think the material is easy, you will do much better if you study and take practice tests. it especially helps you get used to the time factor

does anyone have some good study tips or methods for the science and math besides taking pre tests? im already acquainted with the time well enough…

I decided not to study the time, being my first ACT. If I don’t get a 33-34, I’ll study harder and take it again.

I study.

For the state test, I took a prep course that was offered at my school. It’s pretty much along the basis of the Princeton Review book, but the course helped me a lot! I also took a few practice tests the days before.

For June’s test, I reviewed from the PR book again (It’s so great) and took the 2 tests that were given in it. And I reviewed some of my notes from my prep course.

math- review many concepts. and practice them.

science- practice, there is nothing better than becoming comfortable with that miniscule amount of time they provide for 40 questions

my studying consisted of taking practice tests and actually studying for the SAT subject tests (Math level 2, literature) after studying math level 2 with barron’s i basically re learned everything i had to know for math 2 and the ACT math section. studying for lit also made all the passages easier to read. and for the english section i read sparknotes online (it really helped with common errors that show up on the test). i didn’t study for science. just taught myself not to read every single word for each passage. and i think i’m going to do well now because of all that lol.

i study a lot for every act… on this act, i studied for many hours throughout the week, and it definitely made it run a lot more smoothly than if i hadn’t have studied… i think you should at least look over some strategies and review a little… i would never just take the test blindly

yeah ty, i recommend you buy princeton ACT and do the math

I would advise that you study even if your good at test taking or school. The important aspect is getting a good review book that isn’t to boring and to do only a little bit a day if u can only study for 15 minutes than do that three or four times a week…
