Important dates for entering freshmen and future applicants

My son did get into honors housing & he has had a great experience. However, he and his roommates hit it off and spend a lot of time together.

But, that isn’t always the case, and I am hearing that the suite style dorms can be very isolating. So a traditional style dorm can have great social advantages. Though it’s hard for some kids to accept that when they were set on the suites.

I just had the student tab pop up on mybama so I know I am accepted!! How do I pay my enrollment deposit and how do I pay the housing deposit? Where on mybama do I find these? Thank you!

BAMA Bound dates will be open for registration early February according to UA’s website.

This might be useful for incoming 2016 Engineering students:

“Incoming freshmen must declare a major offered by the College of Engineering by May 1 to qualify for awards described on this site.” http://eng.ua.edu/undergraduate/scholarships/
Also, for 2017: “President’s Cabinet Engineering Scholarship offers will be discontinued for students entering fall 2017 or later.”
