Did you guys receive any letter different from the interview and Eli account email?

The letter I got is totally weird. It’s about describing Yale and its programs offered to undergraduates.

am I the only one who didn’t get these through the email?
even the Eli account number I got through regular mail although they say they don’t mail these to internationals, only email.

I got the Eli and interview emails…
and the Eli by regular post also…

however, they were short and to the point
no description or anything :/

I still didn’t get any… :-(

Eli, the barrow boy of the old town, sells coal and marigolds and he cries out…all down the day

^ nice. but coals and marigolds? :s

^lol…tenchar.

Is Eli crying somewhere? Something about corn?

One thing:
what does 10 char and bump mean?

10 char - you can not put up a post w/ less than 10 characters so if your response is less than 10 you have to fill with more characters to make at least 10

bump - is just a way to bring a thread back to the top of the list of active threads in a forum without adding any real content

10char is put to pad the post…cuz there’s a minimum character limit for the post
For ex. Try typing lol or hi and posting it. It wont happen.

Bump is to return the thread to the top of the forum, so it doesnt slip into oblivion and dies.

Nice!
Okay I knew that a word does not work. I didn’t know it had to be 10 char.
lol
Did not know about the bump though. Thanx guys!

My Eli stuff came through the mail alone and my interview one was via e-mail.

Oh, are you talking about the RD acceptance letter that I just got in the mail today?!! Oh, you mean that thing?! Yeah, I got one …

I wish… :(

Mine was reversed… eli by e-mail, interview my mail…
