Well I mailed all the school forms(counselor rec, transcripts etc.) today. However the minuted I got home I noticed that I forgot to send a report card I got when I attended a High School abroad in Canada. I guess normally the answer would be to send it as soon as possibl, but here’s the deal:
I’ve only attended school for four months during the 2nd semester of my soph year, meaning I did not even finish the classes and all grades given on the report card are midterm(or whatever it’s called) results and not of the second half of the semester since I did not take the exams anyway and therefore did not receive any credits for the classes(The report cards were handed out during the third week of april and I stayed until the end of may). It did not matter to my school in Germany, as they said they would just count my 1st semester grades as full year results and just move me up to junior year when I came back.
However I listed the school as secondary school attended, because I technically went there, just not graduating student. Should I just delete the school and only list it as ec?
Send the report card? Attach it as additional information to the common app? It wouldn’t be certified or anything just a copy so I doubt college would regard it as an official document anyway. But I guess it could not hurt as a proof that I attended school in Canada.
I’m confused.

If I were you, I would send it with a reference to your Common App id number and a brief note explaining that there are no official documents from the Canadian school because you moved away before the term was complete, but you thought they might want this report card for the sake of completeness. Either that or contact the Admissions office of the college you’re applying to, and ask them what to do in this situation. You don’t have to identify yourself in the process if you don’t want to.

Ok thanks.
Should I mail it, or can I attach it to the commonapp as additional Info?

Since it’s not an official document, it’s probably ok to attach it as additional info, but I think I would check with the college on that. Be sure to keep your original regardless, since it sounds like you wouldn’t be able to get another copy from the Canadian school (would you?).

Okay Thanks.

I doubt I could get another original from the school. A lot of internationals attend it for a short time(like me) and I seriously doubt they save the records, since they don’t matter anyway.
