From what I’ve read, if you leave the test center having taken fewer tests than you signed up for, only those you did are graded, and the ones you bailed out on are not scored. I also hear that if you STARTED on the test, that you can’t erase it and just leave, meaning I have to cancel it, and in turn cancel the other tests as well (collegeboard says all tests on a test day are cancelled).

So this basically means that cancelling (after or while taking the test) and leaving (not filling out anything) are different, and that if you leave, the tests you’ve taken are still scored.

Is this completely correct?

If so, how will they know if I erased it or simply left? Because I filled out 8, 9, and 10 (the booklet ID, registration #, etc.) before the test prompter said that I’m not supposed to fill it out. So, I erased it. Does that count as “cancelling” (meaning 8 9 and 10 were part of the second test, as I took only 1 of my 2 paid-for tests today)?

Overall, how do they tell if you simply left the test center or started on the test and erased it, and will my first test be graded? Experienced people only, I’m not looking for opinions.
