Does USC email have a spam or junk folder? I’ve been expecting emails from a few people who told me that they sent it multiple times, but it doesn’t appear anywhere and I can’t find any spam/junk folder. Any help?

Are you using the USC webmail or the USC Google Gmail?

Both should have a Spam folder. The USC Webmail deletes messages after a certain time, though – so be careful. Also, make sure you’re spelling your email correctly as something parts of your name can get cut off based upon the requirements for USC usernames. (etc: if your name is Jane Campbell, your USC email could be jcampbe[at]usc.edu, or jancamp[at]usc.edu…you get the point.)

What could be happening, though, is that you’re using Webmail and your email box is too full. Webmail has too little space to store old messages and will bounce incoming emails if your inbox is full.

If you’re using webmail, I highly recommend you switch to the USC Gmail. More space for messages so you don’t need to delete messages constantly and it’s a lot easier to use. You can switch your account over at [Google Apps at USC | Login](http://google.usc.edu) and follow the instructions to convert your account.
