Impossible Whopper

the Impossible Whopper has finally reached San Francisco, so went off to my local BK to try one. It’s really good. It’s a $1 more than a regular Whopper.

I’ve tried to find an Impossible burger at local restaurants. The first place I went to which supposedly had it on their menu was all out. The second place that someone told me had them actually didn’t. I’m really intrigued as everyone says they are very good. There are a few other places around me that supposedly carry them so I need to find time to make it to one of them. Hopefully I’ll be able to try one soon…

They caught a NY BK passing off a beef whopper as the impossible one last week.

I like Whoppers. Supposedly the “Impossible” version tastes exactly the same as a regular Whopper. I would like to try one.

We have a local Wahlburgers that serves the Impossible Burger. I had one a couple weeks ago. Yes, it’s very good, but I personally would still treat it as if you’re eating a real burger in terms of nutrition (fat, sodium, etc.). And as someone pointed out on another thread (@BunsenBurner?), while there’s no GMO’s, the way the Impossible Burger is made seems a bit worrisome in terms of the chemical engineering.

And don’t forget about the bread, cheese and any sauces, which add carbs, sugar, fat, etc.

I wondered about that. If they really do taste the same, then how would you prevent “cheating”.

A wonderful local restaurant in Cape May serves Impossible Burgers. ( not BK). Had one and thought it was great!

I miss the KFC “double down”.
