Improve Science and Reading

I always take practice tests and grade my tests and stuff but I never know how to use my practice tests to improve my scores

In english and math I know how to improve, which is just by learning grammar and basic math. But for reading and science, it is different every time.

How do you use the reading and science practice tests to study?

Thanks

I think that you just have to try different techniques each time and figure out which ones work for you. If you are a fast reader, for example, you would approach these sections differently than if you were a slower reader. Does scanning the questions first seem to help you or does it work better to read the sections first.
Then you also need to analyze which types of questions you are getting wrong – are “tone” questions or “inference” questions tougher for you – then you can look for patterns and the types of answers the test writers are looking for.
That is how I am approaching these sections anyway – hope that helps.

Science-Don’t even bother reading the experiments and information in the beginning. Questions direct you to the appropriate chart, analyze the axes a bit, and you’ll do fine.
Sometimes you have to look at multiple charts at once and whatnot and you must read the opposing scientists bit but like I said earlier, don’t bother with intro because its not like you will retain any information since it is all just too long-worded and confusing.
This will save you tons of time!
