Improving from 1800 to 2200?

Hello, I recently took the May SAT for the first time. I got an 1800 which was a disappointment. However, I took it with minimal studying because of school excuses.

Breakdown:

CR: 580
Math: 660
Writing: 560
Essay: 8

I used the Grubers book two weeks before the test; however, I found the material very tedious. I also used the blue book for practice tests but I wasted the 10 tests by doing separate sections each day instead of emulating real testing conditions. I have 4 months to get to a 2200 at least. Which books do you recommend other than Grubers and the Blue Book?

Thank You!

I would read the pinned topics in this section and work through Silverturtle’s SAT guide. Even if you’ve done the bluebook tests, just ignore them for a while and do them again after a few months - hopefully you’ll have forgotten the specifics. I think you can definitely get to 2200 - just work through a lot of the pinned links/materials and you’ll be set.
