Improving SAT Score over the summer

I am a rising senior who is looking to improve his SAT score for the October test date. Currently I have a 2230 superscore (which i know isn’t terrible) but i really think i can get a 2300+. This would be my third time taking the SAT (is this one too many times?), and have gotten a 12 on the essay on the previous 2 administrations. Basically, I am looking to improve my writing score to close to an 800 and get my CR to 750+. Does anybody know how i can reach these goals by October since i am trying to get into Duke ED and a 2300 seems like it would really improve my chances.

other Schools I am applying to include Vanderbilt, Emory, Wake Forest, UConn (In State), Michigan (OOS), Northwestern, WUSTL, UVA (OOS), and Rice. Would my 2230 SAT be competitive for these schools incase i am not able to improve?

Did you read my guide?

For the second half of your post, look at your favorite colleges’ middle 50% score ranges on college board. You should be at least in the middle, preferably at the top, to be competitive.

Haha I’m in the same boat! Took the test twice with a 2230 superscore. Taking again in October for a 2300+. Being above the 75%tile is generally competative, especially if you are white/asian with no hooks.
