So I was wondering what material is viewed as the best for the SAT and its subject tests?

I have the Princeton Review book but I keep hearing about a “blue book” for the SAT. Is the blue book much better?

And what do you guys suggest for the Subject Tests (I’m thinking US History, World History, Math II, and Literature). Right now I have Barron’s for US History. Is this one good?

Thanks!

Also

PSAT results:

2010 - 183 (59 CR, 63 M, 61 W)
2011 - 197 (69 CR, 70 M, 58 W)

SAT results:

2012 - 2110 (740 CR, 660 M, 710 W)

So I need to improve on Math the most.

here’s an amazing compilation for subject test prep books: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/1077242-list-best-sat-subject-test-prep-books.html

I like barron’s SAT prep book over princeton’s, but it’s really just personal preference. the blue book is the Official Collegeboard SAT Study Guide. take a guess what color it is ;D

people like the blue book because 10 official collegeboard SAT tests, so if you want to gauge yourself, it’s legit. the tips are vague and terrible though.

great job on the scores!
