I got waitlisted. Anybody know how this process works or how they rank you and admit you from the waitlist? Also is the reg page working for you guys because it says not found for me when I type it in and when I go from the website and travel to the page there is no reg link. If anybody gets the link valid can they send me the url?
@AviSaxena33 The last couple of years they have emptied out the waitlist every year. From what I know there is no set system of ranking, but rather it just depends on which students don’t show up. My advice would be to be prepare something in case you do get called.

Why’s he upset?! You got wailtlisted! You have a huge chance of getting in!
They get offered the chance to go. What it means is they will call you up if there is an opening and ask if you can come and if you can, you now go to IMSA
Oh ok thanks. So do you guys know when the registration link opens up? I think the letter said may 1st but it wasn’t fully clear to me.

So it turns out i got in. My mom saw the letter and decided she wanted to surprise me. If I wasn’t so excited, I’d probably be mad

i was invited to attend SEAMS but I can’t go because of this mandatory summer academy in my high school. can i include that in my optional statement next year and would they hold that against me?
I’m on the same boat as @AviSaxena33 - I got waitlisted.
It’s sort of disappointing, but at the same time I have an idea of why I was waitlisted; I had a lot of achievements in geography, spelling, scholastic contests, etc. but not as much in math and science (not many extracurriculars either). That being said, there’s still a big chance of getting in and I’m not going to mope all over not being accepted outright.
