@vniatge I doubt you’d even need to put it in the optional statement. I didn’t really attend anything as an eighth grader. It might help, but it’s not a deciding factor.

No. When someone declines then people from the waitlist are accepted randomly. If a girl declines then a girl is accepted and same for males. @AviSaxena33

@aang1100 they said that the past few years everybody that was waitlisted has gotten the call to go so just hope for our sake that trend doesn’t change this year…
Everybody? Wow. I think there are quite a few people who apply just to see if they can get in, but have no intention of actually going.
My birthday’s on the 11th and it would be awesome if I got the call on that day, but then I start school in two days. @AviSaxena33

@vniatge 680 math 580 cr then i got it rechecked to 620 or 630 cr i forgot which.

Good news! I got in! Bad news: Damned if I know if my grades are going to be above C by the end of semester.
Guys i emailed the admissions team leader and she said they had a very competetive pool this year and a larger waitlist so they dont anticipate everyone will make it off. Good luck.

so basically two people got waitlisted in this forum and three 8th graders didn’t get in. that’s not too bad. at least no freshman here was rejected.
