@YoloSwagMaster yep!! Get one… I’ll add u!

Hey all,

My name is Ben and I’m the IMSA Student Council Vice President for the upcoming school year. On May 22, the IMSA community will be provided with a full list of the Class of 2018’s names. From that list, Student Council will create a Facebook group for your entire class so that you guys can talk and get to know each other before arriving on campus in August.

In the meantime, it’s clear you guys have a ton of questions about IMSA (as this 75 page discussion would attest :slight_smile: ) and I’d encourage you guys to ask them here: http://■■■■■■/BigSibling . You can ask anonymously or otherwise and a StudCo member will answer your question.

Congratulations and we look forward to welcoming you to campus!

Cheers!

IMSA Student Council

who here went to summer@imsa once?

I did @vniatge I already have a kik @priyaluvsbooks

All waitlisted students must wait till next week for new letters with new log in info btw for any waitlisted student that hasn’t heard this.

@AviSaxena33
I emailed Ms. Branham at the admissions office and already have the new log-in information. IIRC, IMSA sent out an email a few days ago telling waitlisted students with incorrect registration info to contact her.

@dimsumnoodles Thanks, I just came back from math team so I was not aware of this email until now. You saved me a lot of time as I just sent her the email. Thanks once again bud!

Hey guys quick question. how are you turning in the forms that are not available to be turned in online?

@YoloSwagMaster what is it? I’ll add you. Ofc 8th graders are allowed…

I read online, and I found out that IMSA generally accepts 1/3 of applicants each year. So, do not think that its super hard to get in because one out of three people make it in. I am a 7th grader who is gonna apply for class of 2019 next year. Also, if you get in, can someone explain EVERYTHING that happens after ur accepted to the day you start school?

Hi I’m currently at IMSA and I was waitlisted last year. AMA boiz

@jnbada123 What percentage of the wait list get in.

Hi guys, my first post here. This is an awesome site and I wish I had found it a lot earlier. I was admitted this year as an 8th grader. However, I would like to stay one more year at my local high school as I have a late August birthday and don’t really want to skip a grade. I applied for IMSA because they told me and my parents last November that they encourage 8th graders to go through the application process. I am just afraid that if I turn them down, would it reflect bad on me when I apply next year? I most definitely will reapply, I just don’t want to skip a grade. Any advice? Please chime in. Thanks.
