@caressmytoenails you can pm me if you want @chicagonerd Im just frustrated because this is my last chance…
oh and quick question: who here takes the NWEA (its like my favorite test ever XD)
Well, I did not get the desired 700s per section… did not study much for the test… should of… I guess guys I am not making it as 8th grader… hopefully will see you next year…
SAT 2110. Will they just look at Math+Reading ? I got 800+700.
good job to all! i agree with @ck1012 and @caressmytoenails like 2100 is crazy, but really good job guys.
i got 670 math and 690 cr; sadly also 580 writing, but they don’t care about that one as much from what i’ve heard.
@llanaknits. A composite of 1940 is pretty good, people have gotten in with a 1500 composite
@ck1012 You mean the MAP test? I LOVE THAT! There was a time last year where I got a 302 on the math. I thought 300 was the max until then. Could’ve applied to Whitney Young with that, lol. I usually get 250-260 on the reading, though.
SAME @PlanarStuff. I usually get 300+ in math and 260 in Reading
With the advanced Geometry stuff I’ve learned from the Sophomore NSML unit for meet 4, I could probably get a higher score than before. Is it possible to take it just for fun?
Some one told me that max MAP is 325
btw guys judging from IMSA’s recent email, i think they have money
“We’re proud to announce that our science laboratories will be renovated to offer fully collaborative spaces for classes such as biochemistry, advanced and environmental chemistry and sophomore level methods of scientific inquiry utilizing the latest equipment to achieve innovative teaching and learning.
This project is slated to start in the next few weeks.”
Yeah, they most definitely have money if they’re pulling this off. Would be bad if they did this without having the money.
I was talking to one of my friends at IMSA and he said Steven Chen (cofounder of YouTube/has a net worth of 400M) an almuni from IMSA gave them the money to do this specifically.

I got a 270 on my math NWEA XD you guys really are amazing @YoloSwagMaster @PlanarStuff
Ummmm…I believe funds were earmarked from private contributions specifically from Steve Chen including those for IN2. I don’t think those funds can be used to pay vendors. I understand that IMSA is delayed in paying some of these vendors.
Edited to say…just saw @YoloSwagMaster wrote. Yeah, what he said.
We have money but we don’t have a budget. At this point, we’re basically using money we shouldn’t be spending/don’t have for renovations and projects like IN2. The school does get funds from places other than the state sometimes to be able to do things like this though.
I hope the project is done by the time the class of 2019 comes. The blueprints looks cool
They’re going to be starting it this summer. Can’t really say when it will be finished.
Ahh, between SAT scores and the budget talks, you guys are sending my anxiety through a roof, haha. Although, I’m sure we’ll all get in and be sophomores at IMSA next year. (And what’s the NWEA?)
