A class of 49 is set at a median of 3.0. At the halfway point of the quarter (55% complete, 45% to go) I had a 3.4 (66th percentile in the class). At that point, from there on out, if I aced the exam (30%), the quizzes (10%), and the homework (5%) I could end up with a 3.9 (97th percentile in the class). At the end of the quarter, I ended up with a 3.7 (87th percentile in the class). How significant was the improvement?

Apparently not enough to figure this out yourself.

This seems like statistics work…
