in a rut

Not sure where this post belongs.

so i’ve just graduated from engineering and I’ve started at a job. Its not bad by any means. I’ve been working generally from 8:00-4:30 although sometimes a bit more.

I don’t know what to do with my spare time after work. I feel like I’m in a rut. Did anyone experience this after graduation?

buy a PS3 and play call of duty 2

Find (or continue) your hobbies. When I was in college, I could never find enough time for my photography.

Did you ever want to learn anything in college that you never got the chance to? After college, I had started reading books on urban planning, which has been an interest of mine.

These were the two things I did today actually!

After work, just cruise around the city looking for a girlfriend

I recommend Fyodor Dostoyevsky. He was a late 19th century Russian writer, who specialized in human psychology. Start by reading his work Crime and Punishment.

you can pick up world of warcraft. that should keep you occupied.

And be lucky you have a job. Many of us don’t.

Try contacting your local alum club–if there is a chapter in your city.

Damn man, wish I was you. A few more years and I will be! Yeah!

That’s what I was gonna say. Try joining some type of intermural league so you can meet people. If you don’t have a gf then it might be a good time to start lifting some weights :)
